Many of the demands published in the mobility plan were also reflected in the panel discussion with the transport spokespersons of SPÖ, FPÖ, Greens and Neos. During the hour-long discussion, topics such as the EU's planned ban on internal combustion vehicles, CO2 pricing and the fair distribution of space in cities were discussed.

In his speech, EAC President and Managing Director of the ACV Automobil-Club Verkehr, Holger Küster, pointed out the need for technology openness & neutrality and that successful transformation of the transport sector requires Europe-wide cooperation.

For us, technology openness means: neutral assessment of technology use for different sectors. For more details - check our White Paper
